CFGL Competitions

Global AI Venture Studio

A global challenge from the Center for Future Global Leaders where students build real ventures with AI — and present them to the world. The problems worth solving don't stop at borders — and neither should the students working on them. One challenge, four weeks: build, pitch, and prove your venture on the world stage.

CFGL Young Leaders Essay Contest

The Center for Future Global Leaders, in partnership with Elite Educational Institute, invites students to exercise their leadership potential by using their written voices to say something meaningful. The essay topic for summer 2026 is: Global leaders are shaped by experiences that challenge their assumptions and expand their understanding of others. In your own words, describe a moment that challenged your beliefs or assumptions. How did this experience impact your actions, relationships, or future aspirations as a leader? Submission deadline: August 31, 2026.

CFGL Young Artists Contest

The Center for Future Global Leaders believes that imagination and vision are essential tools of leadership. In order to change the world, one must be able to imagine or envision a new, different, or better one. This summer, CFGL invites young artists in grades 9-12 to submit an original work of art inspired by the values of curiosity and discovery. Submission deadline: August 31, 2026.

CFGL sponsors the International Academic Competitions (IAC), a triad of academic competitions that seek to recognize outstanding achievement in the areas of essay writing, mathematical problem solving, and mastery of English vocabulary.

CFGL also sponsors a number of other regional and project-specific competitions globally, often in partnership with reputable local educational organizations and schools.
